A Little Bit About Me
There's always a back story...
I haven't always been a photographer. Before this, I'd spent the previous 15 years of my life in the relative security of a 9 to 5 office job for a law firm in London.
However, that security didn't equate to satisfaction.
For my 30th birthday I'd asked for a camera to capture the birth of our first daughter. Three years later I'd handed in my notice and was doing photography full time.
So now, my job doesn't feel like a job. I'm grateful that couple's choose me to capture their day and it's something that I never take for granted. I love shooting weddings - they all have their rules and in some ways are fairly regimented, but they're also all completely different.
Every couple brings something different to the day - different details, different relationships, different stories. It's my job to creatively document these stories for you and leave you with a body of images to enjoy for years to come.
WHY DO I SHOOT WEDDINGS?
Shooting weddings incorporates a little bit of everything photography-wise. Documentary, portraits, landscapes, details - it's all there and you've got to be ready to capture it all at any point.
During the day, there's always those little moments that can happen, in amongst the big moments. These are all unique to your day and are the stories I always aim to capture for you.
I love the challenge this brings. Turning up to each wedding with a slight sense of naivety, wondering what might take place on the day, it's what keeps me coming back for more.
What's important to me, is that the pictures reflect your day. You'll be having an amazing time and I'll make sure I capture it.
