Lou & Tom – Kent Wedding at The Plough, Leigh

Sometimes some things are just meant to be.  When I first met with Lou and Tom to discuss the plans for their wedding at The Plough, I asked them how they had heard about me.  Lou said that they’d checked out a few wedding photographer’s sites but hadn’t been blown away, then one day a friend of Lou’s had popped round to their house and one of my business cards fell out of her bag – Lou picked it up, liked the picture and got in touch!

In getting to know Lou and Tom further, it became apparent that we had a fair bit in common.  Most notably was that Tom had also recently lost his Dad.  Having been through that myself I know how hard these family occasions can be, but Lou and Tom were intent on making it a big celebration to remember.  They had both invested a lot of time in trying to include Tom’s Dad’s memory as much as possible and it made me more determined than ever to make sure that none of these personal details were missed.  Ultimately though, I wanted to make sure that they had a collection of images to look back on that told them the story of their day.
