As 2015 comes to a close, I thought I should share my last wedding of the year.
I’d met Sarah and Liam at another wedding I’d shot – that very night, a fairly jolly Liam slung his arm around me and asked if I’d photograph his wedding too. I said, “I’d love to…” thinking Liam would have no recollection of his polite request! But a couple of weeks later an email popped up in my inbox asking if I’d meet up with Liam and his fiancé Sarah to talk about their plans for their big day.
Rolling on to a surprisingly mild December morning, I took the short drive down to Faversham to capture their big day. You couldn’t ask to meet a friendlier couple and to see them share their day with such a tight knit group of friends and family was an absolute pleasure. The Shepherd Neame Brewery was an ideal venue for their reception – judging by the several tales discussed in Chris’ (Liam’s best man) speech! The laughs continued into the night and on to the dance floor, which became a bit of a health and safety nightmare if you were lugging around some expensive camera gear… But I think the pictures show what a close group of friends these two have. With that in mind, I thought I’d start the round up of their day with one from the end of the night – which ties in nicely with it being the end of the year, right?!
Thanks to Sarah and Liam for letting me capture your day, I hope you enjoy this little summary while you’re honeymooning in Mexico!
