Clare & Chris – Iden Green Wedding

Having known Clare for a fair few years and seen her amazing floral designs grace many a wedding, I was looking forward to seeing what she’d come up with for her very own wedding.  I wasn’t disappointed.

When I arrived at Clare and Chris’s home village of Iden Green that morning, Chris was helping put the finishing touches to the Pavilion opposite their cottage where their reception was being held.  Seeing the effort the two of them had put in, I knew their guests were in for a great day.  They’d created a real English summer fayre/festival/tea party backdrop and the weather was doing all it could to support them.

Their day was a perfect example of why I love shooting weddings – As much as weddings do have specific rules and regulations, you can pretty much create a day exactly as you want it and to reflect your personalities.  Mainly though, it was great to be there to capture two people so happy to be together and to celebrate their day with them.
